Many focus on books, documents, and [art]works on paper, but other themes include objects, artists’ books, film and photography, and sustainability. The Preservation department doesn’t endorse any specific suppliers or businesses: these are listed as possible resources to be reviewed by the discretion of the reader.

A Word of Caution

Seek advice or services from trained conservation professionals and experts before attempting any treatments yourself. Care for your treasures, but don’t cause irreversible damage to your precious things due to lack of experience or skills, and never take on more than you can handle.
